The Effect of Social Media: Does it play a role on teen's confidence?

         I chose to do my project of the Effect of Social Media : does it play a role on teen's confidence? I believe it's an important topic to discuss in today's world with the advancement of technology. More and more people are online and sharing themselves to a whole world that they have never experienced before and because of that, they, themselves, are exposed to certain aspect of life that are affecting them mentally. Their exposure to articles and pictures relating to perfect body type or even how they're suppose to dress, it ultimately lead to a series of self-thinking that one may not be accepted if they do not look what is perceived to be perfect. I intend to cover all aspect regarding how social media may or may not be affecting teen's confidence. I would also like to possibly talk about whether cyber-bullying plays a role in how it affects teen's perception of themselves and if it correlate to their self-confidence. Issues regarding bullying can be seen in different perspective since one may believe that bullying over the internet is not possible and is easier to ignore since you have the power to see them, but others have felt that cyber-bullying is worse than any sort of bullying throughout the years. This is a brief summary of the things my project will be going over. I plan to discuss every aspect of social media effect on teens and I will be going into greater detail.
